Copy of an extremely rare shop Poster/Sign from 1979 which advertises 'John Steed's Jaguar XJ 5.3 Coupe' from the hit TV show 'The New Avengers.

This model is acknowledged as the Holy Grail of Dinky TV & Film related models. It was never released for sale to the general public, and only a very small number were shipped from the Dinky/Meccano Factory in Hong Kong before it went into receivership and closed in 1979. Christie's Auctioneers sold one of these boxed models in Oct-2002 for £3200
